It is our mission to instill confidence, self respect, self esteem, physical strength, and mental confidence in each and every St. Louis Combat Institute student.
As parents of younger children ourselves, we are constantly aware of the dangers facing children in our country today. The names Shawn Hornbeck, Jaycee Dugard, Elizabeth Smart and Jessica Lunsford remind us daily of the constant threat of child abduction. This, along with the growing problem of bullying, have lead us to develop, with the assistance of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a program to teach kids the necessary tools needed to defend themselves in the time of need.
Young Warriors is a fun and positive class and is designed to teach children ages 4-12 the essence of self defense. Children will be taught basic Israeli Krav Maga, Russian Martial Arts, Jiu-Jitsu, and fitness skills, while focusing on improving their listening, and motor skills. Kids will learn these skills in a safe, playful, and positive setting.
These classes are safe, high energy and fun, while teaching the child the important life lessons.
We incorporate drills, games and a lot of noise which creates a fun, upbeat and energetic class and sets us apart from the typical slow paced curriculums that kids get bored with.
Young Warriors teaches street-smart techniques that are easy to learn and almost impossible to forget.
Young Warriors does not teach fancy kicks and acrobatic skills but rather realistic self-defense skills that will help keep your children safe in the face of danger.
Kids will learn to protect themselves easily and effectively.Whether it be a child predator or neighborhood bully, our kids know how to handle themselves.
