The Tactical Pistol Class, also known as Gunpoint Supremacy, focuses on the tactical employment of the pistol. This class is intended for students who have taken prior pistol shooting courses and are familiar with the functional aspects of the pistol, the basic fundamentals of shooting and practical applications for self defense. The courses have a strong influence from the Russian approach to pistol work, but other schools of thought are also incorporated into the courses.
In this class, you will learn the basics of tactical movement with a pistol through a series of experimental drills.
We will focus on the following: safety, malfunctions, shooting position, fundamentals of Russian Instinctive Point Shooting, transition drills and the tactical mindset. You will learn the basics of tactical movement with a pistol in confined spaces (home, office, etc.), low light environments, multiple terrains and finally force on force scenarios.
If you have a current CCW license or are thinking of obtaining one, this class will increase your skills and level of confidence in the event of a violent confrontation.
